CryoTEM

To use cryoTEM, a cryoTEM training is mandatory! You book the CryoTEM as a TEM with Configuration “CryoTEM”!

Trainings

Trainings are conducted twice per year – provided there is a need. Typically, the trainings take place in August – September and January – February. The following applies:

• TEM proficiency (TEM training and 10-20h in TEM use). See below
• Need for cryoTEM in a long-term project (> 1 year)
• The course comproses 7 to 8 sessions of 1/2 day, spread roughly 4 weeks.

Prerequisite

proficiency in TEM, i.e. having passed the conventional TEM training and an additional 10-20 hours experience operating the TEM without help. Showcase your experience to the admin before enrolling in the cryoTEM training.
